  • would this work on an atv?

  • @MrMotohead21 Yep

  • i know its been awhile but i just picked one of these 60csx up used at a flea market my question is when i press find im only looking at 5 icons are cities, waypoints, exits, recent find, geocache WHERE IS THE ADDRESS ICON ? I DO NOT HAVE ANY usb cord i have the manual from onlne is that because whoever set this up did not put address on ? any ideas also if i get the cord i can update right ? is it all because its out of date all functions working well etc but i cant enter an address

  • @wondersvideo If the address icon does not appear, most likely your micro-SD is not firmly seated, or they card does not have detailed enough maps (like city maps)

  • Would you recommend this for strictly hiking? I'm trying to find a good hiking gps within my budget. Thanks.

  • @christiansurfer17 I'm not a very experienced hiker, but it seems like it would be suitable for hiking. I would check with someone else though (forums?)

  • thanks for the video but you are making me motion sick. please use a tripod or something.

  • Great vid, but I'd recommend using a tripod or some stand to keep the camera still and give you an extra hand to demo with. The movement is pretty distracting

Yes, it is very suitable for hiking. I use it when Geocaching, which involves hiking a lot of times.

  • are you crazy! HOLD STILL!

  • dramamine, anyone?

  • @MrMotohead21 why not lol

  • The odd altimeter readings were probably from a low-pressure system (thunder storm, etc) because it is a barometric altimeter.

  • @scarekr0 I once read an article on the net about a guy that used the prepaid disposable cell phones, hard wired into his motorcycle battery to stay charged. Some have GPS locators built in. Bike gets stolen, you contact your service provider and request the phones coordinates. Relay that to the police. You have to buy one of the prepaid phones from a provider that if you don't use the minutes, the phone stays activated for at least a year. Google motorcycle cell phone GPS and see what comes up.

  • im looking for a small GPS locator to hide on my bike if it is stolen...does anyone know if they make such an animal?

  • For fuck sakes man learn to steady your camera!
