  • Thanks for this, it confirms what we suspected (we're at Powderhouse and Fern). I feel justified in keeping the kids home from school today and hunkering down.

  • @cartertools You're welcome. I thought it would be a good thing to figure out what options are really available. Apparently, Hwy. 34 is one of the more reliable ways to cross Mary's River. That is assuming that you can get to 34 to begin with. I live on 34, so that's easy for me.

  • I tried this exact thing last night at nine pm.. took me 75 minutes to get from downtown to southtown corvallis.. I had to go through alsea. Every route was blocked completely by water.. and it looks much scarier in the dark!

  • I was a little worried that 34 at the "Y" was going to go under as well. Of course if Decker & Greasy Creek are blocked that's pretty much game over.
