  • @0ldeLondon Hostelbookers not charging the hostel for booking? hahahahahaha, dude, what country are you living in, because people are probably so 'special' I have to see it:)

  • "So many first time comments from Ireland. Hostelworld is an Irish company... Hmmmm. I wonder if the marketing department sent out an email..." L O L hostelbookers dont charge the hostel anything I would just go with them or like vernwithers says book directly with the hostel, though sometimes it can be difficult if they speak another language!

  • Great video. Can't wait to start my own trip!

  • my favourite part is watching it again and again as it helps to sell the destinations more and more each viewing, i wanna do them allllllll

  • Gee Hostel World. As if I didn't want to travel bad enough before watching this video. I suppose as an apology for making my desire to backpack and stay in hostels even stronger, you can hook me up with that Flip :)

  • Seems all the Irish comments have dried up... Maybe we will see another surge on Monday?

In the meantime, if you want to book a hostel, book direct with the hostel by email, avoid the middleman and support small business!

    Cheers up!

  • Copy of Spurs away days. Plagerism! You should be locked up mate! DISGRACE!!!!!!

    Total plagiarism by Hostelworld.

  • as fast paced as the travellers that stay in them, a great ad for the youth of today..

  • @freeladingloser. HostelWorld charges the hostel 10% commission for bringing them the customer - i.e. you as a customer pay the same price as if you go direct. In return, you get live bed availability in a multitude of hostels in a destination, provide you the reviews, create a live booking that any proper hostel will honor without the need to acknowledge anything - peace of mind. Not too bad?

And the 10% ??? How about using not Kayak or Google? They charge advertisers money too :-)
