unfortunately desalinization is so expensive that the costs of building the plants and the pollution it would emit to build them almost counter balances the benefits of converting salt water into tap water. hopefully some day a better solution to filter the water will happen! :)

why can't we filter the ocean for fresh clean water?

cool, I've been using my nissan thermos for a very long time now, it keeps the water cold for 8 hours and hot for 11 hrs. The best part was that I got it on sale for $4 from $27.99
