  • Total accident coming here but my god this is ingenius. Truely fantastic. Thank you so much for this.

  • @bigalbantam Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Absolutely fantastic.

It's rare that you want to look at someone's home movies, but the pairing of the music and video gives me nostalgia for an era I never knew (born in '83...)

    Just great.

  • @zarn02 Glad you enjoyed the video! How did you stumble across it? Searching for American Analog Set music seems to be the way most people come across it.

  • Oh wow! I stumbled here from my youtube page and if I remember correctly, this is Thom? Hi hi! I absolutely love the video you made, even though it is evil for tricking me into wanting 500 BABIES. Gah! I especially liked the shooting of vegetation with a toy gun, the creepy pop up doll, spinny ballerina, and one of the last frames where the bottom appeared cut off. Slightly sad, yet something I would watch on a low day to remind myself why life is beautiful. Perfect song choice, too :)

  • @sugarcomakat @sugarcomakat Hey there! Haven't heard from you in a while. I hope all is well! You hadn't seen my vids before? I'm glad you liked it! :) Yes, the band is great (tho I guess they have broken up). Check out their songs "Choir Vandals" and "Sharp Briar". Yeah, kinda sad... makes me remember when mom and dad had God-like powers or so it seemed. Not sure if this is a private message or public comment or not so I won't post any contact info here but I hope we can chat sometime.

  • I found this video a couple of years ago and I keep coming back every few months to see it again. It's so amazingly beautiful.

  • @HeadDrauma That'd be how I came across it as well.

  • I'm glad you enjoyed it! And thanks to The American Analog Set for making our home movies something a complete strange would enjoy. It is one my favorite songs of theirs. It's funny, at one point in the movies you can see I am clearly irritated at my father for filming the picnic. Now I wish he had made more movies.
