*Elizabeth's POV*
That doctor had some pretty good smelling blood. I knew I needed to feed but I didn't want to leave Joe. I walked back into the waiting room with everyone and sat next to Kevin and Erica. "Liz, you need to feed." said Kevin. I nodded and put my head in my hands. "He'll be fine. Here, I'll go with you to protect you. If someone doesn't Joe will kill us all." he said. I laughed and stood up again. "Liz, Kev?" asked Erica. We turned to look at her. "Yes love?" asked Kevin. "Be careful. Okay?" Kevin smiled and kissed her forehead. "I promise." Kevin and I walked out the doors and started running. "I think I smell a herd of deer about 200 yards from here." I told Kevin and stopped. He circled around and stopped next to me. "Okay. Well, I've already fed so I'll let you have this one. I think I smell a nice and juicy cougar to the west. Just come find me when you're done." With that, he was gone again. I sighed and got into my hunting crouch. "Very nice." I heard someone growl behind me. I whipped around and hissed. He put his hands up in a surrender position. "Now, now. No reason to get hostile little newborn." he smirked and walked closer to me. "Who are you?" I asked as he got about 2 feet away from me. "Why, I'm Johnathon, the person that could solve all the problems you could ever have." he said and got close enough to put his hand no my cheek. I growled and turned my head away. "No!" He said and grabbed my arms. I yanked myself out of his hands and slapped him across the face. He hissed and jumped at me. But, I was pushed out of the way.

*Kevin's POV*
I was about 500 yards from Liz when I heard him. The vampire that hurt Joseph. I instantly turned around and ran to them in time to see Liz slap him. That's my little sister. I stood up and jumped at her when I saw him lunge. My body made contact with Liz's and Johnathon's made contact with the ground. I quickly put Liz on my back and started running. I stopped and put my hands on her shoulders. "Are you okay? Are you hurt?" She shook her head no and put a hand on one of mine. "I'm fine, Kev." she said and I hugged her. "Oh, my little sister." She giggled and pulled away. "Little sister?" I nodded and walked her back to the hospital. "You may want to talk to Joe." Liz nodded and walked into his room. I stood there for a few minutes then heard, "KEVIN I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Uh....oh.
