  • you say it like the new series's and the new designs dont cut it. i think the new designs and look of the films and animes actually aid the id

  • i wudnt say they don't cut it.

i just think they are inferior or lack the charm of this product.

  • Oh, and I don't mean to imply that I have some sort of superiority complex, but it just angers me to no extent when ignorant people insult something that they don't even understand, nor could ever hope to understand! ;P

  • well, that's like your opinion man...

the reason why i prefer the comic medium, over the film and television iterations is because it has more variety.

and you shouldnt knock on shirow's tendancy to get virtuoso when he renders the female form. (he is a man after all, and personally i enjoy it, lol)

i also prefer his comics because they have a sense of humor and there is alot more heart to the artwork.

to me, the comics and animations have the same inteligence, but the comics are more fun!

  • Man i still have that game! So fun. Better than the demo!

  • yeah, wish this kind of concept could be redone i this current gen of gaming.

    imagine the possiblitities.

  • p.s- ps2 game sucked balls- i said it once but i say again- it had ps2 power! and its source material fueled imagination- so why did the game play have such a bland basic punch punch kick routine- no qcq arrests? cool duck/cover shoot outs? there was a world of quirks that would have made a gits game fun and this had none of it. and the most modern success on psp- is psx clone? bleh

  • i got the rom just to see the anime- psx squeezed max bang for buck in cut scenes such that graphically they broke production standards- it just looks beyond anything even today. artistic license has not destroyed gits- but these cut scenes show the sac series is a cold pale shadow (oshi movies standalone :). it was made to be so serious it was depressing. appleseed is c,g vomit and i heard tank police is next. 'modernization' of style is ruining classic anime- bgc also bit that bullet.

  • i love this game for ps1

  • where can i get a uk copy of this amazing game? I played the demo over and over when I first got it in the late 90s.

  • one of the best gemes ever^^

  • sry guys but whats the name of the stage musik in this vid??

  • imagine if they brought this game back just the same as it was then but upgrade .. i think if they did an it had muilty player it would be amazing

  • I still have the copy I bought when it came out - at this point, most of the audio data for the BGM and FMV is corrupt, but the game still plays just fine.

I have to say, the PSP version of SAC actually came pretty close to matching the play style, with the right control scheme selected. You could make dinner while the levels loaded, but it played a lot better than the PS2 SAC game.

  • was the book any good?

  • Listen, the anime and the movies may (I don't really think so) not be as good as the manga, but they are still one of the most acomplished series ever made and it's still great.
