i did have a vh4 b4 the mark v but i found it to be way to loud dry and compressed !

@dusted04 The Mark V is an amazing amp. I have the combo version and I'm quite satisfied with it. If you want THE ULTIMATE AMP, Diezel VH-4 is number one IMO. I can play the VH4 without any boosts and it still sounds amazing. I found the Mesa Triple Recto and bit mushy for my ears. If you want the best, go for the VH4 with a 4x12 Diezel front loaded cab loaded with Vin. 30 speakers. Those are the ones I got and they are awesome! Very tight sounding cabs!

just out of curiosity how would you rate the mesa rec you have with say a boost in the loop , compared to the other amps you have like the mark or diezel , im considering selling the mark v for a dual rec with a boost
wadayathink ! mainly for tallica tones but also for heavier stuff like kill switch and parkway drive !

i am from melbourne australia , i have done extensive research on it over the last year ,and it is a replica of hetfields original model not the production model that esp put out back in the day ,so it should be a very special piece of gear , its about 2 weeks off !
