Friday 24 September 2010 La Stella Philharmonic Society of Gudja will host a concert with participation of the group from England The Counterfeit Beatles. This concert, which is expected to attend all those who have at heart the music of this legendary group, will take place in Triq Bir Miftuh in Gudja. Participating also in the concert will be the Maltese band Texanna. The concert, which will be free of charge, will be raised in aid of the ' Dar tal-Providenza ' at Siggiewi.
The band The Counterfeit Beatles, tribute band are of worldwide fame, with fans from around the world including Callgher Liam, the singer of Oasis. They participated in several international concerts such as Japan's Fuji Rock Festival, which took part artists like Coldplay and Elvis Costello, and the Beatlemania concert in Greece. In their performance inside the Gudja the expected band will play live some of the best excerpts from the repertoire of the Beatles.
