Bacteria (to small to be seen with the naked eye) lies under the skin and in order to not only clear skin but to keep skin clear (meaning the prodect has to begin working at the soucre of the problem meaning the pore) all the bacteria has to pushes out of the pore through the surface of the skin. You said it yourself 60% of what we put on our skin is absorbed soooooo what you apply externally can very well have an internal effect. im sorry you feel that way about how this system works but

i usually agree with you but you are soooooo wrong. almost everything we put on our bodies surface is absorbed into our body through the pores on the skin. That makes a lot of sense and it would make more sense if you understand science and chemistry better. Im not trying to be mean but thats just how many cleansing solutions works.

@sunkissedelement Exactly. And its not two months, more like a week, and Proactive doesn't give you tons of acne, just a few pimples here and there, but you can tell they are very deep. Then in a week your skin becomes very clear and soft.

Just because you don't understand something doesn't make it wrong. Do you understand how electricity works? I mean besides that you push a switch and a light goes on. Nope. It still works. Benzoyl peroxide of a high grade is absorbed into your skin. That simple. And it clears up impurities that are then pushed out through your pores. And no you don't simply become immune to something that is making you break out in a rash. Thats just dumb. Not to mention that drying out your skin does hurt it.

ProActive was complete junk for me too. Did nothing good for me.
I switched to AcneFree which is so affordable too and it helped me better then PA ever did. I am going to give your recommendations a try!

Damn! Finally someone said it. I never understood why people accept the "fact" that acne gets worse before it gets better. If your product does that, then it aint doing its job.
