Scientology has something that is called the "Tone Scale". One of the traits Scientologists have to aim on being better Scientologists is to be filled with enthusiasm. This sort of training is how they run donation drives to try and milk its members of money. By creating an enthusiastic atmosphere where everybody seems happy (which by the way is cult-like), the cult of Scientology keeps its members in, making it difficult for them to leave.

Francis was hardly only singing in the shower the past 12 years. In fact, she was a regular Broadway performer, had put out a solo album, and has sung backup for Madonna, Chaka Khan, and even shared billing with Adam Lambert. SHE Trying to put this sob story that she couldnt sing for 12 yrs... yeah okay.. she got america fooled.. and if u look up a group by the name of X Girlfriend, you'll see her on the cover, short hair
