Foster parents arriving on March 14, played with the 8 week old bloodhound puppies, and learned about their roles for the next 5 months: Encourage and socialize the young bloodhounds, building courage and character for their eventual work with law enforcements. These young puppies need this socialization desperately, so that they may work with full confidence as they are adults. Often times their lifesaving work must be done in the midst of sirens, people with high adrenaline, barking neighborhood dogs, and in challenging environments. They start with a sweet-natured adorable puppy, and we ask that they bring us back "Bart Simpson"! All energy and confidence, with not much attention to the rules!
