  • This is a beautiful piece of music and the movie is fantastic

  • du grand cinema , de grands acteurs, l 'age d 'or du western now movies are dead

  • There is no comparison between this magnificent version, conducted by the composer, and the more recent full-stereo version. Even tho this is old and monophonic, there is a particular "sound" that can never be duplcated. Unfortunately what is here is very choppy and not clear. The DVD is recommended.

  • And what about someone named ObamaRules4ever?

  • Monty Clift was gay and John Ireland was bi.

  • Someone gay enought to take the name ObamaRules4Ever accusing his betters of homosexuality. Oh the irony.

  • settle down little doegies...........we'll be travelin soon as its light.......

  • John Wayne is incredible in this movie.

I love the last line, "You've earned it". Brings the entire plot full circle after 30 years.
