triumph in any form is not triumph without Rik
-
No disrespect to Phil X but a Triumph with no Rik Emmett doesn't feel very triumphant.

@TheMaryhayward He happens to be one of the best drummers/singers around. Not too many people can carry a tune and drum at the sametime..your obviously just a Troll and NOT a Triumph fan..move along..

YA!GOOD BAND,HI, my NAME Is HIRO GAY NO! I think me good GUY! NOW SEARCHING GOOD FRIEND! CHECK IT!

Phil X. has played for...everyone. Aldo Nova before this and is now a session guitarist. Any additional guitar on a Modern Rock album (Daughtry & Halestorm) or any guitar on a Pop album nowadays is likely him. Only Dann Huff, Michael Landau and Steve Lukather are the session guitarists on/above his level...all with AOR/Hard Rock backgrounds, too!

Who the hell is this troll singing? WTF
-
It's a good song no doubt, but it's just not Triumph without Rik.

No disrespect to Rik either, but I love this album, every song on it absolutely kicks, great production too, I just wish they had come up with a new band name.

great song, great band, great rhythm guitar

Edge of Excess was a good and underated album. I know they were talking of doing a second album with Phil X also singing lead vocals on some songs. Too bad it didn't happen. I actually saw him when he was with Aldo Nova before he joined Triumph.

I've been a Triumph fan since Just a Game. And after the disaster album Surveillance which we waited 3 years for, this was well worth the wait. Phil X is every bit as versatile a guitarist as Rik. A bit heavier, but that's where Triumph's strength is.

With or without Rik, this song still kicks ass!
Soundtrack from hellraiser...2 or 3?
