Close combat tactics and techniques imply that the participants don't have much space to move, and thus it's important to focus on being invasive. Use a stamping punch in close combat with help from an eighth-degree black belt in this free video on martial arts and close combat.

  • i actually like this video; i am a martial arts practitioner myself; the movement was so simple and direct which in real combat will really save lives; economy of movements which neutralizes opponents or may inflict maximum damage is always the best option of being in a real fight situation; but, use martial arts only as the last resort; to defend the weak and honor.

    thanks for uploading:)

  • Cant beat simplicity very educational

  • @FatalCorruptionzz961

that is something that is a core element of martial arts and self defense... if you cant handle someone bigger than you, then all your training is meaningless....

  • Hey Mark, thanks for sharing this very effective and practical maneuver. We're used to seeing martial artists throwing fancy kicks and punches, but none of them would work in such close quarters.

  • I'm a small guy about 5ft 2in. I'm usually faster and stronger than some kids bigger than me, but I would like to learn martial arts to defend myself from the more tactical people in my freshman year highschool. The problem is, I don't know how to start or where to begin. Hopefully future viewers will see this and reply. Please and thank you.
