How could something i wanted so bad come down to this? She asks herself each night as she rocks that baby.
Now i'm the one holding on with tears in my eyes
and i'll keep us all on this invisible line and she'll walk from point to point and all the while thinking

i've got a picture in my wallet of a girl thats got no idea,
that she would ever forget just why she'd fallen in love or that she wanted to end up here.

These days her idea of a break is a kitchen table song. She tells her self thats fine and she thinks that maybe if these days could all fly three or four at a time it won't hurt so bad if life passes her by. She'll run from point to point and all the while thinking..
