US may assault Iran via Georgia

The U.S. military could have plans to use Georgian air bases to launch air strikes against Iran, according to Russias envoy to NATO Dmitry Rogozin. He pointed out that Georgia would be the perfect base for a potential U.S. operation in Iran.

Iran would never use "the bomb" on the persian gulf, the truth is that iran needs to keep some sort of nominal relationship with saudi arabia, because pilgrims come from iran to mecca at least once in their lifetime. The nuclear weapons are just to keep the rest of the world from attacking iran. I'm Qatari, we're pretty pacifist, we don't want anyone to have WMD. Yes, you are right. Also, the US needs a enemy in the middle east so that it can keep up its presence and keep selling weapons. I don't think Isreal has the ability to attack Iran. Now does Saudi Arabia, Iraq, UAE, Qatar fear Iran having "the bomb"? Would they secretly wish that Iran was kept from getting it? What can be done to prevent this?

True, they have bases in all those places, but no one in the middle east would allow Iran to be bombed from their base. The truth is, an attack against the iran would be an attack against the Shia'a, no gulf nation (i think even Saudi Arabia) would do that. There are Shia'a all over the gulf, allowing such a campaign would lead to a massive civil uprising, there's a lot of Iran loyalist in the rest of the middle east, there werent any Iraq loyalists.

The US does not need Georgia Bases to attack Iran. US has bases in Iraq, Afganistan, UAE, Qatar. Aircraft Carriers, Submarines, Bombers capable of flying from bases in the US, Gaum, Diego Garcia, Japan, Thialand, Germany, Dijobouti, Italy, Turkey, Greece, Spain, UK, Australia, South Korea and so on. Now Israel might use the bases in Georgia. Have you seen the US Military bases on Google Earth in all of these places? US developed Nuclear Weapons in 1945- Iran is about 60 years behind.
