its bin 19 years since i last visited the welshpool and llanfair light railway so for a change from seeing mainline runing and other preserved lines
here we catch the first run of the day leving llanfair behind THE EARL .
the earl is a bayer pecock 0-6-0 built for the cambrian railways but in the 1930s was bought out by the GWR and was hevely converted by the GWR to what you see now ...the aim for today was to capture the hole line on video so here is the first leveing llanfair to cyfronydd ...the second video is cyfronydd to castle caereinion ,,,
