for some strange reason i felt like taking a crap when i heard this....

let this guy play on a floor tom (or on a surface with low rebound) and he will suck like hell because he just presses the stick against the head without implying any finger work.
I don't get why this gus is supposed to be a good drummer, because his technique sucks, especially his left hand.

someone said that the snare drums in pipe drums have snares on both heads. Is that true? It seems odd.

well i am in City of Limerick pipe band Gard 3 and 1 of the best pipe bands in Ireland ........ the drum sound bit flat i recommend an Adanta head they sound well better....

Usually beginners start in grade 4 for solos, then move up as they get better. This guy is a grade 1 drummer now.
