En 1955 Javier Solís graba para la CBS lo que fué su disco debut
que incluía los temas "POR QUÉ NEGAR" y éste "QUÉ TE IMPORTA",
de la inspiración de Rafael "Jibarito" Hernández.
Con el sonido mágico del acetato, les dejo este tema del señor de sombras.

no les parece que en esta grabacion,se oyen algunas notas o algunos tonos parecidos al idolo PEDRO INFANTE,pero despues JAVIER SOLIS fue agarrando su propio estilo,y se convirtio en el rey del bolero ranchero.

@DodgerDelirous You got a good point there. I thought about it before. Although the reverb gives this music a certain aura of otherworldliness, and it makes it sound cool; but nothing like the real thing, without the unecessary embelishments. It kind of reminds me of some of John Lennon songs with the echo, which takes away a lot from his wonderful, stylish voice.

This is a pretty clean version of this song,.The first time i heard it was on a Caytronics L.P. "Te Amare Toda La Vida" and the reverb on that who;e album was way too much,"Que Te importa" sounded like it was recorded in an empty church! Argentina has alot of clean versions of Javier Solis songs,released without any of the reverb that was standard in the 50's and 60's this man's voice was powerful enough on it's own,it certainly didn't need any enhancement!
