  • Ur prob going to take this the wrong way but if I spent 7000 on a 182 I would be pissed off if that was the end result. I no ur saying its wet but wen u get into 3rd there is no wheel spin and its baerly accelerating. I got a old volvo s70 that has cost me 3000 including the car and mods. Its would destroy ur 182. I like ur car just.the cost to perdormace is terrible

  • @SneakyRussian Tbh i think having a N/A car with 200 bhp or more is plenty plus rather cool.....especially as tossers im BMW's would be left for dust lol.

The Golf i think is AWD any way, thats why it can lay down the power

  • @Tommiclio you right mate! In a wet i still wheelspin mine at 40 if i floor it past 4500 revs.

This thing with turbo! i can hear it struggle everytime he changed gear!

Btw you dont need a turbo to get it to 220.. A chip remaping the ecu + decent full exhaust system like miltek and a proper filter will get it there.

P.s: Than again i seen a video of 600bhp old style golf demoliting in a race a porsche and supra.. didnt see any problems with power there..

Respect to the guy for conversion

  • Even the standard car struggles to put the power down!

I do own one!....if i did a conversion id have to get the ATB diff so it would be able to lay the power..

Having said that 300 bhp...in front wheel....too much i feel...Although ford managed it but they had a 20 million budget to develop it properly.

Id opt for the low pressure..220 bhp in a car that weight as much as a fairy cake...is good!

A mate of mine had a Integra R with about 220 and its bigger...you should see that thing move!
