Soul Caliber III Review

soul caliber 3 is by far an amazing fighter for the ps2 but this time theres no special fighter in stead theres a CAC mode in which you can create any sort of fighter you want... from the socks they wear to hair style they have.. weather they are male or female.. the possibillities are almost endless. i mean by myself have learned to create characters like the good ol' capt jack of the black pearl. Ceasar Romero's and/or jack nickolsons version of the joker .jin kazama from tekken.. . Botan from yu yu hakusho . L and misa amane from death note. a female link from zelda. Halrley quinn and sasuke uchiha w/ sharingan of course actually getting most of these parts is a pain, there are basically 2 arcade modes in this tittle, each characters main story line and a whole new story line called chronicles of the sword, an epic story where you can play through it as a custom fighter. theres 20 chronicles each one extremely harder than the last, i wont even tell you about the ACTUAL final boss. ill let you feel the pain for your self . theres a whole new arsonal of weapons available for each character even the custom ones. the guy who replaced uh....that eye guy who could have any weapon from SCII... is olcadon a owl guy who can have ANY weapon from the game... if you bought it he can have it... its random and its cool. of course everyone from the other games are here night mare yoshimitsu kilik and more. theres even a series a mini games that are available the hardest one is one where you have to defeat a forty foot stone statue, for this i recommend you use some one who uses the kunai knives. all around i loved the graphics and the general gameplay. not to mention the chronicles of the sword map play kinda reminded me of warcraft III. and you cant ignore the sound effects, they are great.... no complaints here. i give Soul Caliber III for the PS2 a 9 out of 10.
