man im only 16 but i've gone through like 2 copies of this on vinyl... its addicting to the ears...and when the horns kick in around 2:10 its sucha a smooth transition, i appreciate it so much

On 0:53 it gets truly beautiful and magic

It's possibly one of the 10 most beautiful piano solos I've hard so far [sniff]

It doesn't get much better than Strange Meadowlark. I've been playing this song for 40+ years.

Paul Desmond is a tasty player.

I met Brubeck in Omaha at the Orpheum about twenty years ago. An amazing, friendly man.

A beautiful girl introduced me to Brubeck's music in her living room in the summer of 1966 when I was 16. I was mad about her - but she was slightly older - so I never pursued her. As you can guess, I think of her every time I hear this. What a sweet memory..
