To caramelize onions, slice each onion in half vertically. Place each half, cut sides down,
And slice into thin slivers.
Heat olive oil in a skillet and add the onion. Cook over medium-high heat for about 10 minutes, stirring often. After about 10 minutes, the onion will begin to soften and release liquid.
