Jack the General Practitioner

This is my entry for MisMag822 Contest - 2010 Christmas Contest. The concept is taken from "Jack the Bounty Hunter" and since I am a doctor, I try to change the story a bit so that it fits my job description.

The story is about Ann, a 60-year-old female with a complain of chest pain since 7 days ago as well as difficulty in sleeping since 8 days before that complain.

I did anamnesis to her, I asked some question, I also performed physical examination as well as laboratory examination, but I can't find any problems with her physical condition that may explain the symptoms she had.

I knew there must be something wrong with her life lately, so I aksed to her. She then told me about the problems that she had. Her husband passed away several months ago, her only daughter left her just recently, and life doesn't seem to interest her anymore.

And then, I think I've find what her problem really is.

Anyway, my name is Andreas, not Jack :P
