I wan`t to reborn the camera in to new one , I used only the body of AE-1 , its strong , and make a excersise ,

it's a simple proyect to use the body, the button release, the on off swich, the dial mode, and oviusly , the aparence of the AE ,

to take pictures again !! ( AND VIDEO TOO !! )

so they cut open the old body and just put a point and shoot camera in it, I say not clever enough.

the original AE1 IMO was the greatest camera ever made. i shot NY subway graffiti with it for close to 5 years (1985 - 1989). It was rugged and relentless, never let me down. i wish something like this (f-stop, shutter speed control dials etc.) was on the market.

I wonder if the diaphragm and shutter still works after you move the machinery of it I have a Canon AE-1 and would make iqual .. I think your design is beautiful with the modern fusion atiquedade
