@2RayneR7 maybe bc they live in a world with no resource, poor economy and limited jobs. Also, education was poor as well. Their nation is developing so of course it will be limited compared to most western worlds.

@MinuteXify But why ?! Why did they not progress? Why while we were getting better they stayed at the same level?! Why are they still at the hunting and gathering level and we are in the Information Era ?

please keep in mind, the only meat source to these people are worms.
i would understand why they would eat these.
it's their only source to protein.
i would not recommend eating them, but in the situation that they're in now, i would understand the beautiful African kids would boil/fry and eat them! :)

i cant say they taste horrible but they taste really good i think what i ate was silk worm i eat it in vietnam its my home town its really good!, dont judge the worm by its cover!

If I was not a vegan... and I chose to eat a meat... I would buy the worms I feed to my turtle (meal worms) and cook them up and enjoy them... I would grow them myself and that way I would know they're clean and organic and I would mix them with my other veggies as the protein, but I use various seeds for my protein nowadays... I wouldn't be willing to eat birds or cows etc, so insects would do.
