I am glad, I see , the work you put in to all these video, maybe I will get better at my work, and see if I can help other people, like you , and the other nice, nice people
i agree in full im only 14 and i love working with my hands and i know manny of my friends do to and i have been helping them get into carving and were making a carving groupe thx for all the ideas and the motivation
I'm only 18 and never thought to much about whittling as a hobby that I myself could do, but one day I needed a topic for a school project. I asked around for ideas and my shop teacher told me to do it on woodcarving because he loves it. So after some searching I found your videos and began carving your projects of the bear and tall santa. Once people in school asked me what I was doing I said whittling and they thought this was so cool and unique. I would just like to say thanks for helping me
this shows how good, no EXCEPTIONAL, you are with your ART, your beautiful work and EXCEPTIONAL teaching methods. god gave you the blessing of teaching us how to do what you are so great at. you need to express, ATTACK, the age thing that i have seen in your videos about kids being too young, so their parents say, about being able to carve. a sharp knife is safer than a dull knife. use, one, atall times.learn to sharpen one

Excellent - great to see such enthusiasm.
But its one thing to encourage teachers and pupils, its quite another to actually make a living from it no matter how good you are.
So a little plea - if you love woodcarving or even turning - next time you see some work you like - buy it.

So very true words Gene.
the thing i love about your videos is that they are so full of encouragement.
After seeing your simple Axe video i had to make one that same evening!
are you going to continue making these videos in the near future?
Regards Rob.
