I was at that game in Canada and we DID NOT boo the Americans. They showed a player we didn't really like and everyone booed him. If I recall it was George Parros, their very smart and tough, tough guy. It was more of a cheer for George Laraque, our very tough, tough guy. It's not really a thing that Albertan would do, boo the US. We simply sell them too much oil to complain about them in such a way. We love the US and the way they buy our Oil.

This was a complete mockery. Edmonton fans boo the American anthem earlier in the series, Sharks fans respond in Game 5, and now all of a sudden Edmonton fans are the classiest because the media enouraged them to sing loudly like a bunch of idiots. Four years later, Edmonton IS the joke of the NHL. Maybe they can re-sign Rolison and he can shake his mask off to get faceoffs during key stretches in the game and also bring back Torres to lay out dirty hits.

@jcookjr82 Edmonton did NOT boo the American anthem, we booed a player on the jumbo tron for a few seconds, and then everyone went apeshit thinking that we booed the anthem, which we did NOT. We simply corrected the mistake by cheering so that everyone would shut up. How are we the joke of the NHL, we have the #1 pick and great prospects coming down the line, we're set up for success, don't comment on shit you don't know about.
