@daverigby23 nope. Evolution is the theory that explains the diversity of life once it has arisen.. It's not limited to any enviroment. And it has been proven beyond any shadow of doubt..
Astronomy has absolutely no ties to evolution what so ever, it was a retoricle question.

@nejtilsvampe Astronomy is a different brach of science, the study of the planets, and the Universe. Evolution is only concerned with life on earth, and if it is proved to exist, then life on other planets

@JungleJargon if you duplicate genes in the genome, that won't be the same "story", because the genotype is now expressed twice, creating a different phenotype. ergo the importance of the number of alleles that you have for each gene. Thalassemic disorders are proof that you are wrong.
i can mutate a lot of things. ALL things with DNA or RNA mutates. there is no such thing as "design": you are JUST full of shit.
there are no limits to the genome.

Exactly, varriations cannot occur where there are limits and the genome is limited by limited orders.

Once upon a time, it was beneficial to have male and female so one genome ordered a male and the other genome ordered a female to keep company for the male *without* sex.

But rejection of evolution is irrational, because it contradicts direct, observable physical reality.
The presence of homologous anatomies, and the ability of evolution theory to do what all great scientific thoughts do: make predictions.
Scientists predicted that a link between fish and tetrapod life would be found circa 380 million years ago. And it was!
To deny evolution is an absence of critical thinking, and shows scientific illiteracy. That IS something to be concerned about.

I have never heard anyone, anywhere call evolution the science of speculation. And if it is a science of speculation, then so is astronomy, chemistry, biochemistry, geochronology, geology, and anatomy, all of which support evolutionary theory. There is no argument about evolution anywhere except in the heads of creationists.
