This video is a part of a lecture series given before a live audience by Dr. Skaff. In this video two students are featured to illustrate the strategy to be a "right" player or "don't" player. More details can be found in Dr. Skaff's books "Craps 101" and "Play Craps with the Professor" as well as his DVD "The Professor Teaches Craps 101".

  • I not quite sure what you are asking. The place bets can be made before the point is established. But why do it and then say make them off? Just wait until the point is established and make the place bets you want. It is not against rules to make a place bet and then make it off and then turn it on, etc. Doing this frequently, especially on a busy table and make life more difficult for the dealer. I'm not sure I've answered your question. try restating it.

  • I understand the difference. However, I do not like Don't bets and prefer to make Pass line bets backed up by a craps check bet. I win somethng even on the 12 which is a push for the Don't better. Thanks for the comment and good luck to you.

  • Very few comments from others here.

I only bet WRONG generally ,have been for about 25 years. Someday I'll get my own videos up, wrong system player. But I don't bet don't pass exclusively I can't give my secrets up for free however. But as a hint the NO 5 or 9 are a couple of the BEST BETS (lays) on the table. I 'work' craps at least 6 times a week! Pass line and come bets r for suckers...only a very short term 'possible' winner..its ALL about the arrangement of the dots on the dice.

  • I would be interested in the opinion of a good don't player. Go for it! Put out your own video. I wish you good luck.

  • The key to the game besides some lengthy teaching about money mgmt. is that SEVEN(in the long run). One must collect $ whenever possible when the 7 shows over time...period! Its simple logic. Hint : 7 in the beginning & 7 at the end! Thats pretty much it & all I'd like to share w/others. Sure there'll be HOT rolls now and then but just remember always:

DICE ARE OUT! Most have no clue about dice intricacies

None of my comments are meant to criticize you or ur videos which I think are decent.

  • Thank you for your comments. We all can always learn something new.

  • @MultiBeyzade Hey children, pay attention! This is your mind on drugs.

  • SO......... Im to understand that (on the dont) if you would pay the `12 instead of pushing it, it would be an even game.??? Ph.d in what??? Simple math will show you that if they paid the 12 instead of pushing, the player would have a positive edge of 1.4141....% on the dont line bet. Watching this video was like waiting to die.

  • hi all . this is all bullshit listen oke if you wanna win in the rulet you dont need the strategy just follow the colors then guess the which color gotta come then guess the corner oke for example it will come black oke then for example 24 oke then play the neibers but importand how you will play prees to number 50 -50 and press all 26 number ten ten oke plus 360 if you come the 10 you will get 360 but if you come the pressed 50 you will get 1800 oke .. the best strategy this ..

  • Uh..

    Um..

    Uh

  • Curious: I'm assuming "Dr." here means PhD. Is your degree in mathematics or something similarly relevant?

  • @dontswin

I'm unsure of what strat you could use where the 7 would pay you at the beginning and the end. Unless you are playing pass and dont pass at the same time. Or you are play the pass in the beginning and the dont come after the point is made. Either way, you are always going to be suseptable to loss from a 7.

  • Wait reverse that
