"They say she's a dyke, but I know/ She is my girlfriend (YEAH!)"
I've had this song in my head all day, and my day has been awesome. Not a coincidence.

@bloopbleep23 I care not because of my rhetorical question silly. I was answering your question, "who cares lol". For also not noticing this makes me think less of you more. I know I'm just "some guy" online, but its going to mentally bug you that you know "some guy", around the world pity's you. FYI I know your a girl and your not a bright one. Just from reading your posts says it all once again..

@Bigtigger939 lol if it was a rhetorical question then why did you say you cared. i am an intelligent person fyi. i can reply to watever i want in watever way i please

@bloopbleep23 stfu...it was a rhetorical question. It's to give the viewers reading the comments a thought in relation to the subject, this subject being weed. Your too stupid to realize that. Yes! You are not a very intelligent person to be able to interpret my first comment. You replying with, "who cares lol" says it all. I'm done with you, don't reply.

No, no dumbing down...they were kids and this is punk rock!!!! I've been a Hannah fan for years and she certainly has progressed as an artist and an activist....that's what age does to ya!
These women had alot of FUN doing something they believed in which was simply not keeping their mouths shut.

This song sort of summarizes the "riot grrrl" culture. When the punk counterculture was in its hay-day, for the most part, women got squeezed out of the aggressive, male-dominated music scene. Riot grrrl was sort of the women's turn. The song, like a lot of punk-era songs, expresses subversiveness, aggression, etc., not at all with the aim of impressing the big name feminists. Imagine Wollstonecraft, who expressed that masculinity is ideal. This song says that a woman being herself is ideal.
