My ancestors came to America and gave the Natives diseases, drove them to near extinction.....and owned slaves.
They were illegal immigrants, genocidal slave owning ones nonetheless. But instead the history books choose to whitewash that whole era and we celebrate American's founding by shooting fireworks off and having parades.
But if an immigrant wants to come here and work in the service industry, farm, clean, or work retail, they need to be deported?
The world is so backwards.
