A CSX autorack, led by an SD70MAC and an C40-8 charges into a severe thunderstorm! Wind gusts were as high as 70mph!!! I was nearly blown into the train!!! To understand how crazy it was, this was filmed during the day and the station lights are on!!! Filmed on 6-13-08 at the Buffalo-Depew NY amtrak station.
Nice, but being outside next to a train in a thunderstorm doesn't sound like a good idea. People have been hit by bolts carried from some distance by barbed wire fences. I can't imagine outside of a train being much different.
