Devante Smith-Pelly was acquired by the Mississauga St. Michael's Majors in the 1st Round (8th overall) in the 2008 OHL Draft. This talented player has won several tournament MVPs, while also capturing three Player of the Game awards at the OHL Cup. Devante also played for the 2008 OHL Cup champions, the Toronto Jr Canadiens, prior to joining the Majors.
This season saw Devante breakout as he tallied 29 goals and 33 assists for 62 points in just 60 OHL games.

absolutely sick player... can hit on the forecheck, and plays strong on the puck... needs to work on defensive game, but he's got a A- shot, especially his wrister... been watching this guy since he was a 14 yr old.
