A Wind Advisory was issued this morning for strong wind gusts to
around 45 mph. Many locations reached or even exceeded this heavy
gust value with several more hours to continue. Winds should start
subsiding to lower values at sunset but should remain quite strong
overnight and even continue through Friday.
Damage was reported in Montgomery Illinois... southwest of Aurora...
this afternoon where a 12 by 12 gazebo was toppled.
