The ladies' tango moves are fast throughout the dance so they didn't look too defined, but it's definitely standard tango .
As for waltz, if you don't want to lean backward you can just learn to lead : ).

Is that really tango? Did not look like it to me, but I have only taken one tango lesson. I think they are both waltz! And that is way too much backward leaning - I will never learn the waltz.
