Woody's diabetes started taking its toll by this time, I believe. Bo Schembechler said in his autobiography that Woody NEVER wore a jacket unless it was a blizzard (Bo said during practices at Miami of Ohio that Woody would wear MAYBE 2 extra shirts in cold weather)
