2001 Grand Cherokee 4.5 Stroker Startup

This is the initial start up of my 01 Grand Cherokee 4.5L stroker motor that I built with my father. We start it and quickly shut it off to slowly build oil pressure without engine damage. My dad's neighbor Jeff is filming and helped us

they make an oiler you put in the distributer hole and turn with a drill to prime it.

When I replaced the heads on my sbc in my truck, I poured oil down on the cam and lifters and then put the intake manifold on, then poured oil all over the rockers and valves, and put the valve covers on. Like always I topped off the oil filter before I put it on. Oil pressure was 100% in 1-2 seconds. No offense but it seems like there's got to be a better way than what you're doing.

have u looked on quadratec , summit , jegs ? those are the only places i can think of for the 01 WJ

I do the same when priming the oil pump on alot of cars.... I'm wondering since it's a stroker now have you found someone who makes a header for the 01 4.0 Grand Cherokee cus I have the same truck and I can't find one... all I've done so far is free up the intake box (Jigsaw) and got a lot more power and gas mileage than before, now I want a header, cat back, and a programmer I think that will make me happy... please let me know if you know of a header for these trucks
