@darkspl sorry for the late reply, I don't see why you wouldn't be able to if the connectors are the same. I would post the question the Zalman to see what they say.

I'm sorry, I do understand what you are asking. I just have to remove the fan and at that point I can get to the CPU. I've upgrade from a dual core to a quad core and had to remove it. I hope that helps?

I'm not sure I understand your question. I've removed it twice since creating the video. I use a screwdriver on the arm and I don't have to turn the heatsink at all. I hope this is close to answering your question? I can make another video showing the connection up close, if you would like to see that?

if you put the arm down to seat the cpu.. when you install the fan.. the fan blocks the arm.. how are you going to remove the cpu after installing the fan if you can't lift the arm to unseat the CPU since the zalman fan is blocking it? do you just twist the zalman fan until the CPU gets unstuck from fan?
