A good little tune from the album "Two For The Show" from '76 by the great northern party rock band "Trooper".

  • Hats off to Ray and the crew for giving us such an awesome song. It's one of the first

I pull out of the hat when I have my acoustic sitting around the fire. People love it!

This song is a jewel!!! Thank you Ray and Trooper for giving us this one! Timeless songs are hard to come by and this one is timeless! Everyone can relate!

  • This is such a great summer song, being on the water or even a patio having some bevies, gettin a bit gassed up, haha!

  • @ramsIgordo Boy Im glad you dont live in Canada anymore.

  • This has been my favourite Trooper song forever, but it would appear I got one of the lines wrong. I always thought the first line of the 3rd verse was, "Cruisn' from a sunny port" but now, I realize it is "Cruisin' on a sardine boat"! Woulda never guessed that! lmao!!!

  • I used to sing this song to my son when he was 6 years old playing with his pirate ship complete with a 'crowsnest' for the first mate to shout from. He would giggle at me and soon try to sing it himself. It would crack me up everytime.

  • cruising on a sardine boat

  • And this is a freaking great song :o
