may need to make sure that you go to system prefs>Universal Access>enable access for assistive devices. Make sure it's checked, then try again.

No need to get angry, first remember this is a video response... the video I responded to is linked under my video. Also the home folder is the one that is your name by default. For example at 2:35 it is the folder on the very left that says danherdegen, tho for you it will be something different. However the icon should be the same.
