With the crystal blue Pacific Ocean as the backdrop, 3751 struts her stuff through San Clemente Station to an approving crowd. Making an big impression (splash) with the local surfer crowd.

  • This was a special run of 3751 from Los Angeles LAUPT to San Diego station. After leaving LA, the trackage ran southeast, much of it along the pacific coast on I believe the old ATSF Surfline. San Clemente is a beautiful coast side town, where I believe Richard Nixon lived. Growing up with Diesels, seeing this beauty in action was a special treat. Thanks!
