I heard her sing gospel at a funeral in Charleston today (best funeral I've ever been to) and she was amazing. Count me as a fan!!!

WOW! I am very impressed with her voice. As a matter of fact, her version of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going is one of best I've ever heard (second only to Jennifer Holliday - the original Broadway star of Dreamgirls).

sorry it took so long to respond...
quiana played effie for 10 days in raleigh, nc with the prestegious (is that how you spell that...lol) nc theatre company in the middle of jan 08...
my friend and i bought tix for a weeknight, then decided last minute to go to the dress rehearsal...we fell in love and ended up going four times!! it was after the last show that i asked her if i could start her fanclub!!
