St. Alphonsa Catholic Community in Parramatta Diocese, Sydney has celebrated Holy Week in Wentworthville and Toongabbie churches.
The Good Friday services that started at 11.00 am consisted of Liturgy of the Word - reading of the Passion, intercessory prayers for the Church and the entire world, and Veneration of the Cross. The way of the cross accompanied by passion play in the open ground demonstrated how Jesus suffered on the cross. The Good Friday message by Fr. Joy Thomas, Kunnasserry highlighted the significance of Good Friday and the victory of the cross. It was indeed inspiring for the Community. Read more @ www.syromalabarparramatta.org
