@FFJabarr When Patty is on and has his head out of his ass and isn't playing with Thornton (because Thornton slows him down), he is probably almost as good. Not AS good, but he is one of the elite goal scorers in the NHL, Malkin is also great and I consider Malkin the second best player in the NHL. (Crosby being the first.). Marleau is a top-10 guy IMO and he has an amazing 2-way game, he's much better than Malkin defensively. All together though, Malkin>Marleau.

He had one better year than Malkin did, and Malkin was still on pace for 90 points.
Malkin is by far a better player than Patty.

Man when i watched this game i jumped out of my seat hehe, yeahs its bad he is underated, he wouldnt be if he was in the east though he would be a good highlight man, anyways!!! GO SHARKS!!!! LOVE YA SHARKS (no homo)

yup, obviously he isn't a Malkin but he's still a damn good player that doesn't get much respect around the league.
