  • hello, i just had my baby 3 weeks ago and i lost 20lbs right after birth, ever since i have been exercising 35 minutes everyday on the eliptical, been watching what im eating plus breastfeeding and have not lost another pound, i feel stuck since i got 20 lbs to loose to get to my prepregnancy weight, i was wondering if you could help me, since you look great, did you use any protein weightloss shakes whould it be safe for me to use? help please, thank you

  • @dmoelim

Congratulations on becoming a mom!! I had the same problem with my final 10 lbs. YOu could try doing cardio for a second time later in the day to help boost your metabolism. I would get my son ready for bed, put him in his stroller then go on a 45 min-1hr walk around sunset after dinner with my hubby. I wouldn't drink shakes but I did eat protein bars, not for weightless though, they tend to have a lot of calories.

  • WOW!!! you look amazing!! i hope my body looks like that 5 weeks after i give birth, amazing. Im 20 weeks right now with -4lb wight loss since becoming pregnant. im really hoping that ill be able to loose it like you!!

  • @chelseadawn69

COngratulations!!! Have you had your baby yet? I think by 20 weeks I'd already gained like 20 lbs so I don't think you'll have to worry about weight loss after the baby. So much of it comes FLYING off in the first 3-4 after giving birth....you'll actually enjoy looking at the scale every morning!

  • What breastpump do you use? Not sure if you mentioned it. But, I am looking into getting the medela bp..

  • Looks like I did forget to mention that, Thanks for bringing it up! I'm using the Medela Pump in Style Advanced Metro Bag. I liked that it came with 4 bottles, a cooler bag that holds all four bottles, & the pump itself is removable from the bag which is pretty convenient. The down side is that its pretty pricey...I recommend waiting for a 15-20% off coupon from babies r us...saved us a lot!

  • You remind me of Pam Anderson~

    :)

  • When I'm in the shower and my baby starts crying to be fed... my husband strips the baby down and gives him to me in the shower. I then kill two birds wtih one stone and then use that time to give him a bath.

  • Can you breast pump majority of the time in replacement of breast-feeding?

  • @cathysagal3 Thanks, no i havnt had him yet!! 6 weeks left till the due date!! @ 34 weeks im at a total of 11lbs gained, so im thinking that it wont be a problem to lose the baby weight, it will just be toning it!!

  • My belly looks worse than yours and I've never had any kids!

  • Riley had a lot of spiting up issues he never spit up breast milk so when I ran out of milk and had to give him formula I tried Nestle Goodstart and he spit up a lot witht that, similac advance he spit up, enfamil he spit up, enfamil gentlease spit up, The only one that works for us is similac sensitive and he is doing great. :D
