This is a short video of Tony (Sherrington) and my first attempt to build a functional solar room/space heater. Project cost a total of £105. The most costly part being the beer and cider drunk from the cans then used in solar air heating system. This clearly based on successful proven design found on you tube. Does it work definitely! As the temperature of the output air from the impelling fan shows. Works well in relatively low sun light. Minimum temperature is usually 10 Deg C above ambient temperature to a heady 57.4 Deg C maximum on a good day. Happy runs 6-8 hours a day as long as sunlight quality is right to run fan (2.5 Watts) via solar PV panel (4 Watts). Larger and more refined builds will now follow.
