This is a fan made trailer for "The Hobbit" I made while killing some time. As a fan of the Lord of The Rings movies, I sincerly hope they will work things out, and make it already. In the meantime,

The dragon scene is from dragonheart, the films will not come put until 2010 or so..

Well, I only hope that the movies doesn't demystifies too much any of the events which are only casually mentioned in the book, but still I would love to see the white council! Seeing Saruman again getting angry at Gandalf smoking his pipe :) Dol Goldur! Aragorn the Ranger! What about a flashback with Aragorn when he was at Minas Tirith and Edoras as a young man...it is in the appendixes..

Hm, what does "Khazad ai menu" mean? I am not fluent in dwarfish andrerosh89 :-) It is a pitty though that my prophecy of "Directed by Peter Jackson" does not come true. "Coming soon" seems ever more likely though!

I think that Legolas will be the easiest "extra" character to insert into the hobbit movie, since the hobbits and the dwarfs are taken by legolas father, and meets him. So legolas should be around, by his father side. The green elves in the hobbit is not that friendly, so I assume that Legolas could take the nicer approach to the dwarfs. Gimli could perhaps be around at the battle of five armies,but I cant recall his age. Aragorn perhaps at the end or when gandalf takes his usual detour.

Correct, but only because there was little footage of dwarfs in LOTR, where most of the footage is taken from. All other footage of dwarfs in LOTR is Gimli alone, and he shouldn't even be in this trailer...

What the hell are you talking about? If by "they" making a sequel to the Hobbit you mean JRR Tolkein making the Lord of the Rings then I disagree. It's his world, and I found it to be a grand continuation.

And, I hope you realize that this isn't a real trailer from the Hobbit. It's a fanmade trailer, made completely out of clips from the other LotR movies. So none of this footage is going to appear in the real movie :\ Though it is a well made trailer, it is not an official one.

gee, they shouldn't make a sequel to the hobbit. It wasnt even a book. They'd spend more time on a sequel for a prequal if they have to make up a completly new story. If u aske me(and I kno nobody did) they shouldn't make a sequel to the hobbit. I can't wait for the hobbit and this trailer is believable. i do disagree with your use of dragonheart but other thatn that.... u kno

An excellent trailer mate, great choice of scenes from both movies, although i would rather pick Dragonslayer clips instead of Dragonheart to fill the gaps wit the dragon. Best fan trailer for the Hobbit i saw so far!

You mean it's FAKE!? I hadn't noticed! Somehow the fact that it was titled 'a small fan trailer', and it's still a year before the Hobbit will even begin filming seemed to fly past me. The person that made this trailer is a liar!

true but there is a sequl movie planned about the 60 years between Hobbit and LOTR. Tom could most likely wind up in one of those.

Tom Bombadil was very cool but I can understand why he was cut out. However there is a chance he could turn up in one of the hobbit movies.
