Bleach: Shattered Blade -- Sosuke Aizen

Sosuke Aizen, the captain of Squad 5...he's a pretty nice guy, really...I mean, look at those glasses and listen to his soft manner of speech. You can definitely trust him...it's people like Gin you have to focus on really hard to confirm that you already know someone like him is acting suspiciously.

Aizen is a master of just about all the soul reaper arts, which is interesting...because you'd figure that being that good at just about everything would get somebody's attention. You can't exactly get that strong without somebody noticing, because practice is necessary to hone skills to that razor sharp an edge.

He seems to be fairly competent at fighting with just simple sword strokes and kido spells, though. The only special move he uses his sword for is using Kyoka Suigetsu to create the illusion of being hit by an enemy's attack and then hitting them from behind. Ultimately, it's a slightly more complicated version of what Kenpachi does for a counterattack.

The only real monkey wrench here is that Sajin Komamura is actually a very proficient fighter at a slight distance...and Aizen's moves aren't exactly lightning fast, so it's not a gimme by any means.

How do you unlock him?

@LegeNarm He's one of the last characters you'll unlock, and it's kinda complicated:

To unlock Sosuke Aizen, you have to clear Arcade Mode with Ulquiorra.

To unlock Ulquiorra, you have to clear Arcade with Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tosen.

To unlock Gin Ichimaru, you have to clear Arcade with Rangiku Matsumoto and Izuru Kira.

To unlock Kaname Tosen, you have to clear Arcade with Shuhei Hisagi and Sajin Komamura.

Those last four are unlocked by the various Episodes.

why did you make aizen fight komamaru? He should fight momo...

@TheAgent181 There's no battle equivalent to "Hey, let's have a hug...*stab*"...at least Komamura tried (and failed utterly) to fight him. Along with everybody else who had the dubious privilege of being curb-stomped by the guy that day. Plus, it was hard enough to pick Komamura's fights as it is, this being one of his two bits of "action" up to this point in the series.

@YuuGiJoou NOTE: This is really weird, but when I try to copy that link, it displays in my browser's address bar properly...but pasting it into Notepad reveals that it ends in "Sn-E" for no apparent reason...so if you copy and paste the link, it won't work.

You'll have to delete the possibly-unseen character betweeen "n" and "E" for the link to work...otherwise you just end up back on the YouTube homepage...since there is no video at the string if there's a stray (invisible?) "-" between them.

why does aizens black coffin work only some time? what do you have to do for the special move?

@MacMaster1994 It has a huge hit zone and comes out very quickly, so it might feel like it's automatic...but there are two basic means for successfully avoiding the attack:

1) Block it. If Aizen's opponent blocks immediately, the attack will result in a blocked attack on the enemy and no Black Coffin.

2) Stay away. If Aizen's opponent is very far away, it won't land a hit...we're talking the entire maximum screen length if you want to be sure that it won't register as in range.
